Catherine Spence is the Commercial Client Chief Segment Architect in Intel’s Business Client Platform team. Her focus is on the future strategy, direction, and architecture for specialized features for commercial devices, especially for Intel® vPro™ premium platforms.
Catherine has deep expertise in Cloud Computing based on her prior position of in Intel IT, delivering architecture and driving production capabilities in Intel’s enterprise private cloud built on Cloud Foundry and OpenStack.
In addition to her engineering role, Catherine mentors, advocates and creates development opportunities for technical women at Intel. For example, she regularly teaches classes on Intel “Technical Readiness Indicators” for technical leadership development.
Catherine earned degrees in Engineering, Computer Science and Software Engineering from Trinity College and Harvard University.
